While DC Universe’s ‘Titans‘ is showing how the team has been getting together, the other main focus of the first season has been to show the evolution of Brenton Thwaites’ Robin as he tries to learn his place in the world. Robin is always thought of as the sidekick for Batman, and just as we’ve seen in the comics, Dick Grayson went on his own way to become Nightwing. While Grayson is still wearing the mantle of Robin in this show, he has already moved past Batman who is darker in this series compared to what we usually have seen so far.
We’re getting closer to Grayson adopting his superhero persona with his Robin suit having been destroyed in the seventh episode combined with his conversation with Donna Troy in Episode Eight.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
