Godzilla: King Of The Monsters

It was hard to imagine that the MonsterVerse would be born when the first news that ‘Godzilla’ was being released in 2014 and today we’ve got the latest trailer for ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ which is the third film in the series. The new trailer is promising even more giant creature feature action and seems to have picked up on what worked from ‘Kong: Skull Island‘! It was initially revealed that this trailer was set to screen at CCXP and has just found its way online today. Thankfully, Warner Bros. didn’t want to keep fans in suspense for too long as we see the “crypto-zoological agency” Monarch returning in the upcoming movie.

The studio is putting their best monsters forward in this trailer. Obviously, there is a plot crafted around the humans in the film, but audiences are here for giant monsters wreaking havoc on both one another and the cities that humanity lives in. Thankfully, that is what they’re delivering here, and I’m excited to see more as we were just treated to new shots of Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah!

Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action-adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

‘Godzilla: King Of The Monsters’ will be roaring into theaters on May 31st, 2019!
