He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice! No, not Santa, the Dark Lord. It’s the holidays in Greendale!
The trailer for the ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ holiday special just dropped and features our favorite family of witches preparing for the winter solstice. The Spellmans are gearing up for the longest night of the year to light the yule log and sing pagan carols. However, they do have to deal with the tricky issue of Jolly Old Saint Nick trying to crash the party!
The trailer shows Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) preparing to come face-to-face with the Dark Lord as part of the impending winter solstice. Sabrina is also shown giving a present to Harvey (Ross Lynch).
The episode, called ‘A Midwinter’s Tale’ will introduce some new characters. Alexis Denisof, known for playing Wesley Wyndam-Pryce on ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Angel,’ will appear in the special,and will recur in the second season of ‘Sabrina’ as Adam Masters. Masters is the doctor who is engaged to Mrs. Wardwell (Michelle Gomez), but returns to Greendale after some time away to discover that the body Mrs. Wardwell is now inhabited by Madam Satan.
‘A Midwinter’s Tale’ was written by ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Donna Thorland and will be available on Netflix on December 14. Check out the trailer below!
