the mandalorian

We know that ‘The Mandalorian‘ is in full production for Disney+ and that means new details and photos from the series are emerging online. These new shots from the series which we’ll link to below seem to show a ton full of trenches which are a common theme in the “Star Wars” universe. We’ve seen them on the Death Star as well as being used by the Rebels on Hoth and the Resistance fighters on Crait. With this in mind, it should be no surprise that another location would have trenches as well.

This trench has been dug in Southern California where ‘The Mandalorian’ is being shot and with these trenches usually meaning Imperial or Rebel activity. Outside of the trenches, there was also a tunnel which was created to match the style of the sets. You have to wonder if there will be more going on in ‘The Mandalorian’ than just whoever is wearing Boba Fett’s armor.

You can check out The Skiff, and multiple shots of the tunnel and surrounding area by clicking the links in this sentence.

There are no real details on how this scene will play into the story at this time.

What did you think of the Skiff set photos which could be clicked through above? Do you think that it’ll be a scene with plenty of action for ‘The Mandalorian’ or just a minor background scene? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
