With ‘Supernatural‘ having been around for 13 years, fans of the series have had a lot of time to get to know Sam and Dean, and now Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are sharing what they’d like to see about the two characters. There have been numerous flashbacks over the years to help flesh out these brothers, but there is still plenty of the story for these two which we’re unaware of.
As to which part of their character’s lived the two actors would love to see more of, Ackles shared that he has a soft spot in seeing their younger years:
“I would love to see more of what the boys were doing when they couldn’t necessarily go on a hunt, but they really wanted to. Maybe sometimes they’d stow away with dad, and he wouldn’t know it, and they would get into some trouble. I think there’s a lot of story to be told there.”
Padalecki, however, would jump back even further into their youth:
“I would love to see the month after Mary gets burned on the ceiling. I would love to see the story of how John figured out that his wife and the mother of his two kids was involved in hunting.”
That sounds like it could be a fun mystery to have to watch John figure out.
As the series doesn’t look to be coming off the air anytime soon, these two might even get their wish!
