Ms. Marvel and Squirrel Girl leap into action in this clip from ‘Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors’. These two super friends are out for a jog in the park, when they witness a suspect fleeing the scene of a crime. Kamala Khan’s quick change is assisted by her size-changing abilities, but Squirrel Girl? The answer is decidedly low-tech and comes courtesy of her squirrel sidekick Tippy-Toe– snaps.
The characterization of these two is a lot of fun. In particular, Squirrel Girl has a knack for coming up with catchphrases, “Let’s get nuuuuuuuts!”

‘Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors’ premieres on Disney XD this Sunday and follows a series of web shorts entitled ‘Marvel Rising: Initiation’. The series Kathreen Khavari (‘Big Little Lies’) provides the voice of Kamala Khan./Ms. Marvel, reprising the role from ‘Avengers Assemble’. Khavari’s Ms. Marvel also takes on a larger role in the upcoming ‘Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest’, which also airs on Disney XD, on Saturdays. Squirrel Girl’s voice belongs to Milana Vayntrub (‘This Is Us’) who also voices Ellie on ‘Dallas & Robo’ starring Kat Dennings and John Cena.
‘Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors’ also features the voices of Dove Cameron as Gwen Stacy/Ghost-Spider, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake (Bennet also plays the character in live action on ‘Agents of SHIELD’), Cierra Ramirez as America Chavez, Kim Raver as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Tyler Posey as Dante Pertuz/Inferno, Kamil McFadden as Rayshaun Lucas/Patriot, and Dee Bradley Baker as both Lockjaw and Tippy-Toe. The supporting cast includes Booboo Stewart as Victor Kohl / Exile, Ming-Na Wen as Hala the Accuser, Skai Jackson as Gloria “Glory” Grant, Tara Strong as Mary Jane Watson, and Steven Weber as Captain George Stacy.
Most of the main cast will be hitting toy stores, oh right those don’t exist anymore the shelves of Target soon, as part of an extensive Hasbro toy line.
