Winter is coming to the fans of ‘Game of Thrones‘ and not just because the series is set to end next year but because the ending won’t be a crowd pleaser. While fans of George R.R. Martin’s work or anyone who has watched a single episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ knows that bad things happen to our heroes, it looks like the show might come to the end credits with some things left unresolved.

When it comes to the end of the series and the finale finally fades to black, Kit Harington is warning us now that not everyone is going to be happy as:
“I think a TV series that’s spanned eight, nine years is an incredibly difficult thing to end. I think not everyone’s going to be happy, you know, and you can’t please everyone. My favorite TV shows are Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and The Wire, and they all ended in a way that…It’s never going to satisfy you.”
Harington was promoting his upcoming feature film ‘The Death and Life of John F. Donovan’ when sharing this detail that will have viewers wondering what kind of an end we’ll be in for. Before fans cry out “you know nothing” to Kit Harington, he does bring up some valid points. It is hard to end such a long-running series and not just for having to wrap up so many open ongoing story arcs but because fans just don’t want it to end.
Do you agree with Kit Harington that the end of ‘Game of Thrones’ isn’t going to leave everyone happy? Can the final season of the series come soon enough? What do you think will befall Jon Snow before the credits roll and we see the series conclude? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
