Alexandra Daddario (‘True Detective’,’Baywatch’) is rumored to have auditioned for a part on DC Universe’s upcoming ‘Doom Patrol‘ series! The actress is no stranger to genre work having starred in films such as ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’ as well as the “Percy Jackson” series. The problem is, we aren’t quite sure as to which part it will be. That isn’t going to stop us from speculating because if they have her in as a character from the existing books, there are only so many parts she could be up for!

If she joins the ‘Doom Patrol’ as one of the heroes it could have her up for the role of either Bumblebee, Faith (who is also part of the Justice League), Lodestone, and Negative Woman. On the flip side, we could see Daddario up for the role of a villain, and that narrows it down to Laura De Mille who goes by the name Madame Rouge, Gemini De Mille who is better known as Gemini, or Angela Hawkins III who goes by the alias Phobia.

If Daddario does join the cast, she’ll be joining a star-studded cast of genre favorites such as Kelsey Grammer as The Chief, Brendan Fraser as Robotman, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, and Joivan Wade as Cyborg.

Who do you hope Alexandra Daddario will be playing on DC Universe’s ‘Doom Patrol’ if she does join the cast? Share your thoughts below!

Synopsis:

DOOM PATROL is a re-imagining of one of DC’s most beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities—but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence—and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TITANS, DOOM PATROL will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.
