Twilight

Fans who have been really missing that Edward Cullen sparkle will be thrilled to hear that the first ‘Twilight’ film is returning to theaters for two days in celebration of the film’s 10th anniversary!

The fantasy movie series is based on Stephanie Meyer’s novels. The first installment was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and written by Melissa Rosenberg and served as the springboard for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart into stardom. The two played star-crossed lovers, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Think Romeo and Juliet, with fangs.

Fathom Events and Summit announced that the ‘Twilight’ film will head back to theaters for two days in October in honor of the film’s 10th anniversary. 450 theaters will show the film on Sunday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 23.

Those in attendance will be treated to a special introductory message from Hardwicke. Her message will also include a sneak peek of the new ‘Twilight Tour…10 Years Later,’ which will be included in the upcoming ‘Twilight’ 4K Ultra HD home entertainment that comes out on October 23.

The ‘Twilight’ serves as the first event of its kind from the Fathom Spotlight series, which will bring contemporary blockbusters, modern classics, and fan-favorites to the big screen in their enhanced digital versions. Fathom Events VP of Studio Relations Tom Lucas released a statement, saying:

“’Twilight’ was a once-in-a-generation supernatural love story that became a pop-culture turning point for teens and teens-at-heart. Fathom Events is thrilled to be celebrating the movie’s 10th anniversary with Summit Entertainment by presenting it on the big screen this October.”

If you want to get tickets for the return of ‘Twilight,’ can head to Fathom Events or any participating theater!
