Marvel Studios: The First Ten YearsCan’t get enough of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Marvel Studios has you covered! A new book titled ‘Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years’ will tell the story of how it was all brought to life! The announcement came at the end of the Marvel Studios: The First 10 Years, Visual Development panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and is a book that fans of the MCU will be thrilled to take a look at.

The cover of the first of these two books will feature Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding’s concept art for the Mark 1 armor from the 2008 release of ‘Iron Man’ which kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe while the second book’s cover will be graced by none other than the Infinity Gauntlet. They’ll both be released in the slipcover that is full of images spread over the course of Marvel Studios’ 10-year history.

The book was penned by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry and is slated to be released at the same time that ‘Avengers 4‘ hits theaters in 2019. In this special release, we’ll be given a behind-the-scenes view on how the studio evolved into the juggernaut that it is today and will be fully up-to-date with details of the first 22 movies in the franchise.

Yes, that means it will also include fun notes and facts from ‘Captain Marvel‘ and ‘Avengers 4’ which is part of why it can’t be released before the cinematic debut of the bookend to Phase 3 of the MCU.

There will be over 100 interviews with the cast and crew from the films and is a must-read for fans everywhere. As a bonus, Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige has written the forward to the movie as Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey Jr. has penned the afterword.
