Jim Jarmusch is best known for 2014 vampire flick ‘Only Lovers Left Alive.’ Now, Jarmusch is exploring another realm of the undead in ‘The Dead Don’t Die’!
Jarmusch has brought together a kick-ass cast! Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Adam Driver, Steve Buscemi, and Chloe Sevigny have all worked with Jarmusch before and will now star in the upcoming movie. Selena Gomez and Austin Butler will also appear in the film.
Joshua Astrachan and Carter Logan are producing ‘The Dead Don’t Die.’ While no details for the plot have been released, set photos feature Murray, Sevigny, and Driver dressed as police officers. Gomez also appears with a blood soaked Butler. While Jarmsuch himself has not officially announced the project, Murray hinted at the film in an interview earlier in the year. Murray said:
“I’ve got a good job coming up. Brace yourself: It’s a zombie movie. Jim Jarmusch has written a zombie script that’s so hilarious and it has a cast of great actors…it shoots over the summer. But, no, I will not play a zombie.”
Focus Features and Universal Pictures International will distribute the film. Jarmusch has worked with the studio before on 2005’s ‘Broken Flowers’ and 2009’s ‘The Limits of Control.’
