While ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’ doesn’t officially open in theaters until today, the film’s mid-credits scene was already leaked online! The scene could have some interesting results for the entire MCU moving forward.
Fans have been guessing that ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’ and the mid-credits scene could tie into ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ but just how that would remain a mystery…until now!
The movie’s mid-credits scene begins with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) once again journeying into the Quantum Realm. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) can be seen on a rooftop guiding him on his mission.
Suddenly, Scott is met with radio silence, and realizes something is horribly wrong – if he cannot reach them, he is now trapped inside the Quantum Realm. The camera then pans back to Earth and it’s there we see that his three allies have vanished after Thanos’ snap and turned into dust. Come on, Thanos! Give us a break! Check it out below!
This outcome will all but remove The Wasp for ‘Avengers 4.’ Recently released set photos from ‘Avengers 4’ have shown Ant-Man alongside Captain America and Iron Man, so we know he makes it out of the Quantum Realm somehow…maybe with the help of Ghost? Who knows!
