The Marvel Cinematic Universe has become the ultimate in crossover films and while Netflix has done a similar outing with ‘The Defenders’, it hasn’t been overly done on television quite yet. Now, the stars of Freeform’s ‘Cloak and Dagger‘ are sharing who they’d like to see their characters work with down the line. The answer is a bit of a surprise though fits perfectly with the characters.
The answer is, of course, cross-network, as there aren’t a multitude of Marvel TV shows available on Freeform but instead of Netflix or even the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the ishow these two have would like to share some screen time with is Hulu’s ‘Runaways.’
According to Aubrey Joseph, “If we were to cross over with any other Marvel show, it would definitely be them. We’re close in age, and it would just probably make the most sense. I’m all for the Runaways.” Olivia Holt also chimed in that “I would love to see the Cloak and Dagger clan and the Runaways clan team up.”
This would be a fitting team up for the characters as ‘Cloak and Dagger’ have already shared stories with the ‘Runaways’ in comics so there is plenty of source material that they could work with.
While fans might be up for this, the fact that they’re not even on the same network or even air/stream close to each other’s showtimes could make this an impossibility.
