If you’re hoping that the cast or crew of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ might leak a spoiler for how the series comes to a bitter end next year, its time to abandon hope. While the cast has finished a read through of the series, it sounds like it wasn’t a full read through as it looks like the ending wasn’t revealed. The news comes directly from Emilia Clarke who makes it seem as if alternate endings could be being filmed.
Here is what Clarke had to say:
“I don’t know that I even do now. I’m being serious. I think they’re filming a bunch of stuff and they’re not telling us. I’m being serious. I’m being deadly serious. I think that they don’t even trust us. There’s lots of different endings that could happen; I think we’re doing all of them and we aren’t being told which is actually what’s going to happen.”
Talk about misdirection!
When “Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons” doesn’t know how the story is going to end, it doesn’t seem likely that anyone else outside of the showrunners and writer’s room does either.
Unless, of course, the algorithm which predicts character deaths is correct and Daenerys just doesn’t live until the end of the series. This could be an obvious reason as to why she doesn’t know what will end up happening.
On the flip side, she could just be trying to kill off any rumors or reporters continuing to ask her the question as Iain Glen claims to have read the script earlier this year. Unless he also read a fake one.
