Andy Bean

Another adult member of The Loser’s Club has been cast! It looks like Andy Bean (‘Here and Now,’ ‘Power’) will be playing Stanley Uris in the film ‘It: Chapter 2′ (the younger version in the first chapter was played by Wyatt Oleff). Bean will be joining Jessica Chastain as Beverly, James McAvoy as Bill, and Bill Hader as Richie in the movie. James Ransone announced in a now-deleted tweet that he’ll be portraying the adult version of Eddie Kaspbrak, though that has yet to be officially confirmed and we already know that Bill Skarsgard is set to reprise his role as Pennywise in the film.

Andy Muschietti directed a smash hit in the first outing of this adaptation of Stephen King’s work and now has some huge clown shoes to fill in the follow-up. I think we’re all eager to see what he puts together from the second half of this epic tale. However, as production is set to kick off this summer, I’m sure we’ll be hearing all of the finalized casting details shortly.

While the star has been in a couple of genre films including ‘Allegiant‘ and ‘Transformers: The Last Knight,’ this looks to be the first true horror movie that he has been attached to. We’ve seen stars of all genres really make a name for themselves in breakout horror movies and as Bean could be thought of as being on the cusp for some major roles, this could be just what his career needs.

Do you feel that Andy Bean will be great as Stanley in ‘It: Chapter 2’? Is it a plus that not every actor showing up in the sequel isn’t an overly known face? Share your thoughts below, or you’ll float too!

‘It: Chapter 2’ will be haunting your local theater on September 6th, 2019!
