Fans of the DC’s classic superhero team ‘Doom Patrol’ should be thrilled that they’ll be making their way to the small screen courtesy of ‘Titans.’ This little tidbit was dropped in a recent Twitter post by ‘Titans’ co-creator Geoff Johns which confirms his earlier teasing of their inclusion. The tweet was of an episode script for the upcoming series with a title that confirms a team which almost never gets the attention it deserves.
First, let’s get a look at that script!

You’ll notice that “The” was added in just to clarify that we’ll be getting the team and it isn’t just a one-off episode name. As exciting as this news is, Johns’ post was pretty much immediately taken over by people demanding the Zack Snyder cut of ‘Justice League.’
For those unfamiliar with The Doom Patrol, they’ve been around since the early 60s and were initially billed as “The World’s Strangest Heroes” with a roster that initially included: The Chief, Robotman, Elasti-Girl, and Negative Man. The team has gone through massive changes over the years, and the most recent version has been running since 2016 and includes “Robotman, Danny the Street, Casey Brinke, Crazy Jane and others.”
It isn’t clear who exactly will appear in ‘Titans’ at this point though Robotman is a face which usually is present in the lineup. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait until the series kicks off on DC’s streaming service later this year to find out more!
