We already know that Kilgrave will be back for the second season of ‘Jessica Jones,’ but now we’re getting a look at the rest of the cast. From what we can tell David Tennant will be a secondary character for Jessica so hopefully these new shots will give us an idea of what to expect from everyone’s favorite private investigator. With the show dropping in March, it isn’t too surprising that details are starting to be revealed. We only wish that we’d gotten more already!
After finishing her business with ‘The Defenders’ we know that in this season we’ll see Jones “beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave.” This won’t be an easy task with what appears to be his memory haunting her and her newfound fame. The fame is key here as she is “now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.”
You almost have to wonder if she had to sign the Sokovia Accords.
Our first shot of the series has Jessica clearly giving the stink eye to whoever she is talking to. This is an iconic look that Krysten Ritter has fully mastered at this point!
We’ve also got a shot of Jessica’s sometime employer frenemy Carrie-Anne Moss’ Jeri Hogarth. She isn’t looking too happy in this shot but with what she’s been through that isn’t too surprising.
Unsurprisingly, Jessica looks to be on the wrong side of the law again. It isn’t’ quite clear what she did this time, but the police aren’t taking any chances with someone who has super strength. Why do I suspect that these chains wouldn’t be able to hold her?
Jessica won’t be going it alone this time around either as we see that both Rachel Taylor’s Trish and Eka Darville’s Malcolm are back to help. They don’t look super comfortable about whatever situation that they’re in and sadly there is still no news if Trish is going to transition into the hero Hellcat.
