SPOILER ALERT: This article discusses SPOILERS from ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and possibly ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, so proceed with caution.
In recent years, toys and LEGOs, in particular, have made it a bad habit of spoiling events in big films before they are released. Well, here comes another one. It seems as though a new set has spoiled an event from ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
One of the biggest reveals in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, was the destruction of Thor’s enchanted hammer Mjolnir at the hands of Hela. Thor later picked up a pair of swords and discovered that he could summon and channel lightning without the use of his mighty Uru hammer. But in ‘Infinity War’, Thor will join forces with his allies against their greatest opponent, Thanos. He might need more… and it appears he’ll find it.
A LEGO set has seemingly leaked the revelation that Thor will pick up the Wrecker of Worlds, a powerful battle ax known as Jarnbjorn. This was first teased with the release of concept art a while back:
It’s not particularly clear, but Thor is wielding a new weapon of some sort, but the top part is cropped out, so it’s hard to see exactly what it is.
Instagram user paul_seeley1, who makes it a habit of leaking LEGO movie spoilers, posted the following:

Is this 100% legit? I can’t stand by that, but we do have a new “electrified” Thor, with no helmet, which (I don’t believe) was released as part of the ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ line and a human-sized Groot, which would emulate the surly teenage Groot we glimpsed at the end of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2’. The black and green Minifigure appears to be the “unknown Infinity Stone” listed. Correct me if I’m wrong (PLEASE!), but if so, that’s an even bigger SPOILER in that it appears that the Infinity Stones will take on human form in the film.
But of particular interest here, the ax lying between Groot and Thor appears to be Jarnbjorn. Thor wielded the Wrecker of Worlds in the comics before coming to posses Mjolnir and recently picked it back up while Jane Foster utilized Mjolnir when she acted as Thor. So a precedent has been set for his possession of this battleax.
Is this a major spoiler? That won’t be clear until ‘Infinity War’ arrives. But what do you think? Are you looking forward to seeing Thor using another weapon other than Mjolnir?
