Game of Thronnes

The Dragon and the Wolf” is the 80-minute seventh season finale of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones‘ and we have 7 new images to show off some of what we’ll see. With a title like that, we can see a lot of word play going on. This could either stand for Jon Snow or the Starks and Targaryens in general or possibly Jon and Dany. There isn’t much action teased here though I suspect we all know that the producers are going to leave us with a wicked cliffhanger and quite possibly the death of a major character or two.

It should be noted that the title doesn’t include Lions and we do see the Lannisters being shown rather prominently in these new images.

Let’s take a look. First up we have Lena Headey’s Cersei Lannister with a serious look on her face while Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s Jaime seeming to be watching her reaction as the two take their place at the Dragonpit for the great meeting:

Next Up Jerome Flynn’s Bronn is still free even though Cersei has stated that he has to be dealt with as he talks to a very serious Jaime.

There are Lannisters everywhere as Kit Harington’s Jon Snow and Peter Dinklage’s Tyrion also arrive at Dragonpit.

Our first image without a Lannister is a lone look at The King of the North who is likely about to present their prisoner to those who wish the Iron Throne.

Next up is Alfie Allen’s Theon Grejoy who is likely not going to be happy seeing his Uncle or hearing what is happening to his sister when he arrives at Dragonpit.

Cersei is in the Red Keep here and with where her hands are I almost suspect that she is talking about her child with her brother. I also suspect that her earlier promise to say that it is his might be taken back in this scene.

Finally, we’re up in Winterfell and while we don’t get to see the Stark sisters yet we do see Isaac Hempstead-Wright’s Bran Stark sitting by the fire and likely speaking to one or both of them.

Again, no real action is being shown off here but with 80-minutes to enjoy you know that something is going to happen.
