batmanIf you grew up in the 1990s (or anytime after, really) then you undoubtedly have an appreciation for Warner Brothers legendary ‘Batman: The Animated Series’. The popular cartoon, which originally ran from 1992 through 1995, is considered by many to be the definitive version of the caped crusader’s adventures.Especially in recent years, nostalgia driven fans can’t seem to get enough of ‘Batman: The Animated Series’, and the team at Mondo appears to be ready to feed the masses with an all new 12″ 1:6th scale line of figures based on the hit series!

This week at San Diego Comic Con 2017, the team at Mondo unveiled the first figures in their new 1:6th scale ‘Batman The Animated Series’ line of figures to Entertainment Weekly. While we’ve seen some larger scale figures based on this series before, this is the first time we’re getting fully detailed and articulated versions of these classic versions of the characters. The first two figures set for this series are Batman himself and the misunderstood evil genius Mr. Freeze. While these are the first, hopefully they won’t be the last we see in what is sure to be the next hit toy line from Mondo! These are due to be up for pre-order this fall, with an expected release date in spring of 2018.
