While we’re all eagerly awaiting the home release of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ to find all of the cool Easter Eggs in the film, director James Gunn has just shared one of the creatures which we only briefly glimpsed in the post-credits. As there are quite a few scenes that we’ll all be pausing through, this is a character who fans from the comics will recognize but will be new to viewers who only know the team’s lineup through Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. We’ll get to that in a moment. First though is the news that when the film comes out for home release, it will be the first Disney movie that will have a 4K UltraHD edition!
I’m personally hoping that the company wants to take my money and re-release all of their previous films in the same quality. One can only hope!
At any rate, back to the image that Gunn shared. This could be a spoiler for anyone who hasn’t seen the movie yet so if you’re waiting ot check it out at home, you should probably click back now.
So, if you’ve seen the film or stumbled across all of the early leaked spoilers then you know that the original Guardians team from the future has been reimaged for modern times and make an appearance. One of these team members are Krugarr who you only get a quick look at but thanks to Gunn we’ve got a close up of the final concept art for the character below which really gives us a better view of him.

I absolutely love the look and suspect that we’ll be seeing more of this team in both ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and/or ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’. I’m hoping Gunn will share a better look at all of these character designs with us.
