Inhumams

This Thursday we’re finally going to see the trailer for ‘Inhumans‘ but before that premieres, we’ve got some early footage to share with you! In an interesting agreement between Marvel TV and IMAX, the first two episodes are being released earlier in IMAX theaters prior to the show’s premiere on ABC this Fall. If it does well, we might be seeing the beginning of a trend for future Marvel TV shows, though the Netflix shows would unlikely to be included in this deal.

Marvel’s ‘Inhumans’ have often been thought of as an alternative way to approach the mutant concept of the X-Men. With the latter property tied up cinematically with another studio, this theory has been pushed even harder by fans across the world, especially with how the ‘Inhumans’ have been shown off so far in Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..’ While this feels more accurate than not, this new series doesn’t look to be exploring humankind’s archaic distrust of anyone or anything that is different.

Here is our first little teaser look at the series before Thursday’s full on trailer:

I just can’t help but feel that the first two shots are more of something out of ‘Game of Thrones’. Royalty, open plains, and, oh wait, guns. With the series being IMAX ready, I’m actually quite eager to see the production quality that is hinted when the full trailer drops this tomorrow.
