We haven’t heard much about ‘Jurassic World 2’ lately, but now we’ve not only learned what the title will but we’ve also got a teaser poster to share with you as well!
The title for the sequel has been revealed to be ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.‘ As a bonus, the tag on the teaser poster is using a direct quote from Jeff Goldblum‘s Ian Malcolm from the original film: “Life finds a way.”
I’m pretty sure that this is a direct tribute to Goldblum reprising his role in the upcoming film and hopefully his chaos theory will still fully fit into the fifth film in this franchise. J.A. Bayona has a lot to live up to as the previous entree earned over $1.67 billion dollars at the box office and ended up as the fourth-highest grossing film in history. While Colin Trevorrow won’t be back to direct this one, he did co-write the script with Derek Connolly.
With Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard also reprising their roles and Justice Smith, James Cromwell, and Toby Jones in the picture, there will at least be a ton of on-screen talent to enjoy.
It should also be noted that Pratt chimed in on his Instagram when sharing the image to say:
“In one year, life finds a way. #JurassicWorld Fallen Kingdom We are 80 days into filming!! I can’t tell you much except… This movie is gonna be freakin’ awesome! Who’s excited?”
I can honestly say that I’m excited. With 80 days into the movie that must mean that they’re pretty close to a point in filming where Bayona might be able to share a teaser with us depending if they’re doing any of the special effects at the same time.
