We had heard awhile back that Harley Quinn would likely appear in the Season Three finale for ‘Gotham‘ and that rumor has been confirmed! The introduction of Quinn was mentioned as far back as last year when executive producers Ken Woodruff and John Stephens had brought up the possibility of bringing on her character and now the Bruce Wayne actor himself, David Mazouz, has let the cat out of the bag.

The news came during the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest which took place this last weekend in London. He didn’t go into detail at all but did state:

“She’s going to be in the finale. Stay tuned.”

It is unclear as to if Erin Richards’ Barbara Keen will evolve into the character in the latter half of the season as she already has an association with Jerome who is the likely candidate to eventually end up as The Joker. Her ties there, her rise in organized crime and running a nightclub called “The Sirens” (which sounds like a reference to the ‘Gotham City Sirens’ comic which features Quinn, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy) seems to really have her fit the bill. The hints are all there but having Keen end up as Quinn almost seems to cement who we’ll see Jerome end up as and so far the network has been trying to still not officially recognize him as the future Crown Prince of Crime.

We’ll have to wait until next Monday’s release of “Destiny Calling, ” and “Heavydirtysoul” to introduce someone new or place Keen into that starring role. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see how they introduce her and how vastly different from her cartoon and comic origins this character will stray.
