If there is one thing that TV watchers love, it’s an engrossing, under-the-radar type of show that doesn’t overstay its welcome (i.e., it ends its run before getting bogged down in itself). Viewers found all that and more in ‘Orphan Black,’ the little show from BBC that made a star out of its lead actress, Tatiana Maslany, by asking her to carry the show, quite literally, by playing the lion’s share of the show’s characters all at once and all by herself.
Now has come the time, however, for the saga of a woman and her cadre of clones to come to an end. The fifth and final season of the show is headed our way this Summer, and it looks to be shaping up to put one explosive cap on a truly unique televised series.
BBC has done fans the favor of released an extended version of the previously-released trailer for this final season, and it’s pulse-pounding, to say the least. Take a peek at the newly-bestowed trailer below, and get yourself geared up for one last ride with the 21st Century clone army.
‘Orphan Black’ debuts its fifth and final season on June 10, 2017, on BBC.
