vixen-the-movieIf you’ve loved the first two seasons of The CW Seed’s ‘Vixen‘ than you’ll want to be on the lookout for ‘Vixen: The Movie’! With a planned Digital HD release on May 8th, 2017 and Blu-Ray on May 23rd, 2017, ‘Vixen: The Movie’ will combine not only the first two seasons but “15 minutes of all-new, never-before-seen content.” This is the ultimate collection for die-hard fans of Vixen, and it only gets better as there will be both a featurette included as well as two of the ‘Justice League Unlimited’ episodes where our leading lady was the primary focus!

The two episodes which they include are “Hunter’s Moon” and “Grudge Match.”

For those unfamiliar with the series, though know the character from both ‘Arrow’ and ‘Flash’, this animated take is canon for the live-action series and is just a new viewing of the same character. In fact, many of the actors from the live-action series have done voice work in the cartoon including; “Stephen Amell (Green Arrow), Grant Gustin (The Flash), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak), Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon), Katie Cassidy (Black Canary), Victor Garber (Martin Stein) & Franz Drahmeh (Jax) collectively as Firestorm, and Brandon Routh (The Atom).”

According to WBHE Senior Vice President, Television Marketing Rosemary Markson:

VIXEN: The Movie gives fans the action sequences and the characters that they all fell in love with in Arrow and The Flash. We are very excited to release VIXEN: The Movie for fans of the hit series and DC collectors, featuring never-before-seen content available exclusively to owners of the Blu-ray, DVD or Digital HD.
