One of the taglines in a recent ‘Twin Peaks‘ promo warned that “It Is Happening Again” and a new set of character posters are doubling down on that statement.

It’s now been twenty-seven years since we were introduced to ‘Twin Peaks’ and Laura Palmer’s corpse so it seems fitting that some new promotional material would be released today. This one includes shots of both Kyle MacLachlan’s Agent Cooper and Sheryl Lee’s Laura with the new tagline for the show. Obviously, Laura’s you’ve seen a sample of in the header above.

This phrase is a throwback to the events in the Red Room and fans are wondering if this also means Bob will be returning. More importantly, though, today’s date marks the 25th anniversary of the events in the series. This anniversary is extra important for fans that remember at one point Palmer told Cooper that “I’ll see you again in 25 years.”

Well, that twenty-five years has finally passed and here are the new promotional posters which teases the reunion that we’ve all been waiting for:

It is still hard to tell if we’ll be returning to Laura Palmer’s death in this series or if a new body will be getting Cooper out and investigating once more. I’m just eager for an explanation on what happened to everyone at the end of the original series though knowing Lynch’s work we might be in for a wait on solid answers. At the very least we know from Madchen Amick that the entire season will be one long story and not episodic content.
