If you’ve given up all hope on ‘Hellboy III‘ becoming a reality than Guillermo Del Toro’s latest tweets might put you in a good mood. Now, it is hard to tell if this means we’ll be seeing Ron Perlman donning the broken horns and Right Hand of Doom for one last outing or if he’s just trolling the recent presidential election, but you can see why it might be getting our hopes up.

First up, things all kicked off with a poll on ‘Hellboy III’ that had nothing to do with taking “NO” for an answer.

Is this wishful thinking? It could be, however, the following makes it seem like either a bit of trolling on current events or that an actual sit down might be in the works between del Toro, Hellboy’s creator Mike Mignola, and Hellboy himself Ron Perlman:

Now, we all know discussing it doesn’t mean anything and without funding the film wouldn’t happen so that makes me wonder if del Toro might have started talking with a studio who is willing to fund his vision for completing the most amazing comic trilogy of our time! For those of us who love Lovecraftian themed cosmic horror in our comic book adaptations that is.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall of that meeting if the numbers do come in though I’m not sure if there is a reason to get our hopes up quite yet. Still, it is nice to dream that we could get a scene of Hellboy really bringing an end to the world and have this scene fleshed out a bit:

Do you think we’ll see del Toro get 100,000+ votes? Are you looking forward to a chance of ‘Hellboy III’ becoming a reality? Share your thoughts below!
