Incorporated-Syfy

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are among the producers of Syfy’s new show ‘Incorporated’, about a man’s struggle against a seemingly all-powerful corporation.  The show stars Sean Teale as Ben Larson, plus Julia Ormond as Elizabeth, Dennis Haysbert as Julian, Allison Miller as Laura Larson, Eddie Ramos as Theo and David Hewlett as Chad.

Syfy ordered a complete first season, consisting of 13 episodes.  The show was created by Alex and David Pastor, who also co-directed the pilot episode.  The Pastors are also co-executive producing along with Damon and Affleck, plus Ted Humprhey and Jennifer Todd.  Humphrey (‘The Good Wife’) also serves as showrunner.

The new trailer was tweeted out by the show’s official Twitter account and you can watch it below:

Incorporated is set in a near future where corporations have unlimited power. Teale (Reign) stars as Ben Larson, a young exec who conceals his true identity to infiltrate a dangerous corporate world to save the woman he loves. Larson, though, isn’t the only one whose secrets might have deadly consequences.

Syfy recently stepped away cheesy horror movies (although, they did just air ‘Sharknado 4’, so they haven’t abandoned them altogether) to focus on more serious-minded science fiction and fantasy shows.  Zombie thriller ‘Z Nation’ returned for its third season on September 16.  In addition to ‘Incorporated’, the network is premiering three more new shows this fall, ‘Van Helsing’ (September 30), ‘Channel Zero: Candle Cove’ (September 27) and ‘Aftermath’ (September 27).

Unfortunately, if you were intrigued by the ‘Incorporated’ trailer, you’re in for a longer wait.  It won’t premiere until November 30.

Will you be checking out this futuristic new show?
