Fans who have been eager to know when they can see Amazon‘s reboot of ‘The Tick‘ are going to be excited today, though maybe a little less so after actually seeing the new take on the character.
While he is one of the most absurd concepts in comics, the new suit that they’ve created has somehow actually been able to look more ridiculous than the original, and not in a good way. As a bonus, the official synopsis has also been released for the series which can be found at the bottom of the post.
First off we’ve learned that we’ll be able to see the pilot for ‘The Tick’ on Amazon’s various streaming services on August 19th.
Now, let’s take a look at
in character as our hero whose costume looks, strange.
We’ve also got a shot at Whoopi Goldberg as a talk show host or news reporter interviewing another superhero:
This one looks a little more grounded from early reports so I’m almost hoping that this take on ‘The Tick’ isn’t actually the final product though am guessing that it will be. If anything, his mask looks closer to what I would picture his sidekick Arthur wearing.
Are you looking forward to Amazon bringing us ‘The Tick’ once more? Am I being too judgemental on the costume that he’ll be wearing on the show? Share your thoughts below!
