While the first two DC team films might be called ‘Justice League: Part One‘ and ‘Justice League: Part Two’, director Zach Snyder (‘Man of Steel’,’Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice‘) claims that the first one will be a stand-alone movie. Specifically, he said that “It is a complete movie” so it seems that much like The Avengers films that have been released so far it will help to have watched them in order, but you don’t have to.

Will it have a “To be continued” like ‘Avengers: Infinity War Part 1’ will surely have? Snyder wouldn’t be quite as straight forward with that and says that: “The movie doesn’t end and you’re like, ‘Okay, well that’s the DC Universe.'” If you’re wondering what that could mean for the second planned film he vaguely said that “I think we still have a release date.”

With the big shakeups over at Warner Brothers after the poorly received ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ it almost seems like some changes may have happened to how the ‘Justice League’ films will be playing out as well. Of course, Snyder could just be being vague for the sake of surprise but we’ll have quite a bit of time before we can find that out one way or another.

Are you happy to hear that ‘Justice League’ will be a self-contained film or do you think that a two parter was neutered because of how ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ failed at the box office? Share your thoughts below!

‘Justice League’ directed by Zack Snyder, and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg and J.K. Simmons, hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
