With San Diego Comic Con rapidly approaching, it appears Warner Brothers is going all in to drum up excitement for ‘Justice League’, which doesn’t hit theaters until next fall.  But after the disappointment of ‘Batman V Superman’, it seems like WB is really hoping to turn things around with ‘Justice League’ which is currently filming, with ‘BvS’ helmer Zack Snyder behind the camera.

Above, you can see the new logo for ‘Justice League’, which is… meh.  Sorry, it’s incredibly ordinary looking, little star included.  I expect to see a more elaborate version sometime soon, maybe even at SDCC, perhaps rendered in metal.

But perhaps more intriguing is the new synopsis for the film, which gives a vague idea of the film’s direction:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.  Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.  But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Perhaps the darkness of ‘Batman V Superman’ gives birth to a brighter future in the DC Expanded Universe?  That should please many that hated the bleak tone of the previous movie.

And finally, as one last bonus, here is a shot of the newest screen version of the Batmobile:

I have no idea how this one is any different from the last, but hey, there it is!

Do these teases increase your excitement for this high-stakes film?
