From the studio that brought you ‘Batman’, ‘Batman Returns’, ‘Batman Forever’, ‘Batman and Robin’, ‘Batman Begins’, ‘The Dark Knight’, ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and ‘Batman V Superman’ comes… another Batman movie! But this one should be a LOT more fun than those (especially that last one), ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’!
Yep, Will Arnett’s scene-stealing ham from 2014’s ‘The LEGO Movie’ is winging his way back to the silver screen and this time, he’s taking that spotlight and dropping the mike as this film is “written, directed, sound mixed, choreographed and “painstakingly beatboxed” by Batman himself. Well, that’s what he says anyway.
Now on the dawn of the big screen premiere of ‘Batman V Superman’— by all accounts a dark, brooding affair– Warner Brothers has unveiled the first look at ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ a decidedly different spin on the character.
And bonus points! The LEGO Justice League appears! On quick shot shows Batman running alongside Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, Green Lantern and The Flash!
Also thrill to Batman’s adventure as he tried to figure out how to reheat lobster in the microwave!

‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ is directed by Chris McKay with a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, who is also directing ‘The Flash’ live action movie.
As previously reported, Arnett will be joined by Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Michael Cera as Dick Grayson/Robin, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker and Mariah Carey as Mayor Marion Grange.
The movie will be released on February 10, 2017. A proper sequel to ‘The LEGO Movie’ is slated for release on May 18, 2018 and hopefully Arnett’s Batman will show up there too!
