Guardians-of-the-Galaxy-Vol-2-header

If you’ve been dying to see more from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2‘ it looks like Karen Gillan (‘Doctor Who’,’Oculus’) has brought us another behind-the-scenes photo from the set! Our first shot of Nebula in the film came from Gillan herself and while it wasn’t much, this time we’ve got quite a different view as the 28-year old looks to be flying around in a harness against a blue-screen.

The most striking thing you’ll notice about this though is that the red-haired actress isn’t bald this time around. We don’t know if this means it is early testing for scenes and she hasn’t shaved her hair off yet, if her hair will be removed through CGI in post-production, or if she’ll be sporting her natural hair this time around. We do know that back in 2013 director James Gunn had said that “A bald cap looks fake when seen repeatedly up close and during long action sequences” so it clearly won’t be a cap being stuck on in between this and the actual shooting.

Take a look at Nebula:

I’m curious as to if this will be a shot of Nebula falling in space or perhaps rocking some rocket boots to fly similar to Peter Quill’s in the first ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.

While last time it was Gunn who showed off most of the photos from the set, I’m glad to see he’s letting other actors share in the love this time around. I can’t wait to see more of the film but with a 2017 release date, I suspect it’ll still be limited on what we see until this Fall.

Do you think that Karen Gillan’s Nebula will have hair in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’? What do you think she’s up to in the above tweet? Share your thoughts below!
