captain america: civil war

We likely don’t have many more trailers in store for us for Marvel’s upcoming ‘Captain America: Civil War,’ but this new behind-the-scenes video offers up some new footage from the film! There is just under two months before the superhero throwdown of the year occurs, unless of course you’re more of a ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice‘ kind of moviegoer and with DC’s just mentioned offering also coming up, the stakes have never been higher! Hero vs hero, fandom vs fandom, comic book company vs comic book company.

Honestly, no matter who loses at the box office we all win!

The Russo Brothers who are directing the film have shared off their Facebook page a bit of what it looks like for the mixing team who are still knee deep in finishing up post production on the film. Here, they give us a quick shot of “Thunderbolt” Ross who is sitting down with The Avengers and reading them the riot act. We’ve seen glimpses of this scene and those leading up to it in previous trailers but this gives us a better idea of not only what to expect but to who is sitting down with Ross.

Harsh.

Of course after the damage the aliens did when invading New York, the fallout of Helicarriers crashing down as S.H.I.E.L.D. was torn apart, and Ultron’s destruction of Sokovia is enough to put the world on edge. That’s not even factoring in all of the lesser damage that has happened in their films.

Yes, they may be heroes that the citizens of the Marvel Cinematic Universe love but much like Superman has gotten flack for not adequately saving Metropolis, it is time for Marvel’s Finest to get a dose of their own reality.
