We don’t mean to alarm you, but what we’ve got here is an all new Toy News Tuesday! We’re the one weekly column right here on ScienceFiction.com where we seek out all of the awesome news you need to know about any announcements and cool happenings in the toy industry and put them all in one easy to find place for you! Spring is here and we’ve got all sorts of great new products coming our way from some of our favorite companies like NECA, Mezco, and Hasbro! If you’re into horror you’re in for a few nice surprises, and fans of the superhero genre definitely won’t be disappointed when they see some of the new announcements for this week! Sneak Peek At The One:12 Collective

It’s pretty safe to say that Mezco’s new One:12 Collective toyline is easily one of the most talked about lines of the past year, and with good reason! These 6″ figures pack in all of the details and style of a premium 1:6th scale figure, and they bring it all to you at half the size for only a fraction of the price! This week, the team at Mezco offered fans a look behind the curtains for a few of their upcoming figures in the One:12 Collective line through their official blog!

Both Marvel and DC fans should be pleased with some of the new reveals, which include a behind the scenes look at some in development figures from Marvel like Spiderman, Red Skull, and Deadpool, plus a closer look at the previously announced One:12 Collective The Flash figure! Behind The Scenes: One:12 Collective The Flash

Here is a peek at DC’s scarlet speedster, the Flash. What you see here is some of our initial concept art, the digital sculpt work, and a shot from our 2016 One:12 Collective catalog.One of the things we focused on with the Flash was trying to design his shoes so they made sense for a runner. There’s more to reveal on this action figure and we’ll bring you up to—ahem—speed on that soon.
