If you can’t get enough of the early promotional shots of ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,’ than you’ll be happy to see that we have a pile of new images pitting these two against in another. In fact, we also have an action shot that calls back to one of the most iconic scenes from ‘The Dark Knight Returns’ which has Bruce taking Kent down in style. While a couple of the shots appear to be new, most of these seem to be rehashes or simply ones that we’ve already seen in various trailers.
Yes, I’m saving the best one for last.
First up are the shots coming from Entertainment Weekly including the two cover variants which feature both the Man of Steel and The Caped Crusader. As I mentioned most of these shots are going to look familiar.
Now, as unfun as those shots above are for anyone who has paid an ounce of attention to the film’s marketing campaign so far, there is one shot that is spectacular which we have to share with you. It was actually posted to Comedy Central’s Instagram of all places.

Now ladies and gentlemen, THAT is how you do an action shot and I’m surprised that no one in marketing had gotten it out sooner because it is the first shot in a long time that has really peaked my interest. Not only do we get more of the fight between our two heroes which everyone is going in to see but it is very reminiscent of ‘The Dark Knight’ which much of the concept behind the movie is based upon. Specifically it calls out to this scene where we see Batman really giving Superman a beating:
