The team at Funko have sure been keeping themselves busy this year! They brought quite a few new things to the table during New York Toy Fair 2016, as well as plenty of new additions to old favorites. We saw several new lines like MyMoji, Rock Candy, Playmobile, an un-named ‘Game Of Thrones’ 3.75″ line, and the return of POP! Plush! Plus we saw new products for Vinyl Idolz, Mopeez, POP! Home, Vinyl Vixens, ReAction, and Fabrikations! Here’s the full rundown straight from New York Toy Fair 2016:

Fabrikations:

Daredevil and Ant-Man! These two are new additions to the already popular 10″ plush line!

Un-Named ‘Game Of Thrones’ 3.75″ Line:

While details were in short supply regarding this new line from Funko, we can tell you that while these figures are in scale with the ReAction line, they are fully their own toy line! These feature much more detailed sculpts and a great deal of additional articulation than the ReAction line, making them a sight to see! These figures will come packaged with character specific accessories to really help bring them to life!

What’s even better, is that the playset of ‘The Wall’ that you see here is actually going to be available as well and will include the Tyrion Lannister figure you see at the top when it hits retail later this year! Be sure to stay tuned for more details as these come closer to release!

Mopeez:

The Mopeez plush line is seeing a huge injection of new properties! These sad looking little plushies are going to be joined by quite a few new friends this year with the addition of ‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Ghostbusters’, ‘Horror Icons’, ‘Futurama’, ‘Alice: Through The Looking Glass’ brands, as well as a new wave of ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Mopeez!

You can also be sure to keep an eye out for a ‘Suicide Squad’ themed series later in the year, as well as waves for ‘Batman v Superman’ and ‘Captain America: Civil War’ (both previously announced and not pictured).

MyMoji:

Funko has a whole new line of blind-bagged minis coming our way in the form of MyMoji! These adorable little vinyl figures are designed to look like a style of Emoji that you would use during text conversations, but are based on designs of some of your favorite characters from top brands like ‘DC Comics’, ‘My Little Pony’, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, ‘Ghostbusters’, and ‘Minions’! These figures stand around 2″ tall.

In addition to the blind-bagged mini figures, there will also be a larger 4″ plush series of MyMojis that will not be blind-bagged, so you, at least, get a better idea of what you’re getting with these plushes!

Playmobile:

Funko has gone all out for this new line by licensing the Playmobile figure design directly from the Playmobile brand, so that they can produce these Playmobile styled 10″ vinyl figures based on some of your favorite brands like ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Back To The Future’, ‘Willy Wonka’, ‘Sherlock’, and ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’!

POP! Home:

While there was plenty on display for the POP! Home line, it looked as though most of it was either previously released or previously announced before the convention. The one big surprise that Funko had in store for us, was that they were now going to be released DC Comics POP! Home products as well! The first DC Comics pieces in the POP! Home collection are the ceramic mugs pictured below featuring the likenesses of Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Superman!

POP! Plush:

While Funko tried these out a while ago, it looks like it’s time to welcome back the POP! Plush line! These are going to be available in several scales, so you can go with a medium or even an extra large sized POP! Plush of your favorite characters! So far brands set to be included in this latest incarnation of the line are ‘Marvel Comics’, ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’, ‘DC Comics’, and ‘Alice: Through The Looking Glass’!

ReAction:

Sadly there wasn’t much on display for the ReAction line as far as new products (which is more than can be said for the Funko Legacy’ line, which had nothing new on display at all). On the bright side, we have been told that there are definitely going to be more ReAction figures coming later in the year, and the two that were on display at the show looked phenomenal! Check out the new Ripley and Alien Queen ReAction figures from the classic sci-fi hit ‘ALIENS’!

Rock Candy:

Another all new line from Funko, Rock Candy is a series of 5″ vinyl figures based on some of your favorite female characters from top brands! So far only two brands have been confirmed for this line, DC Comics and one other (which we will get to in just one moment!). These look kind of like a scaled down version of the Vinyl Vixens line, but feature a different artist’s stylistic theme driving the line!

The other big brand you’ll be seeing as Rock Candy figures is none other than Mattel’s ‘Barbie’! That’s right, Funko is taking the classic ‘Barbie’ line and turning it on its head to bring you these stylized vinyl figures based on some classic Barbie styles! These should certainly prove interesting, as the ‘Barbie’ brand is rarely licensed out, let alone to other toy companies! Hopefully, these do well, as they look fantastic!

Vinyl Idolz:

There weren’t too many new Vinyl Idolz on hand at Toy Fair, but that can likely be attributed to Funko constantly announcing new figures on a weekly basis! The only ones that we spotted that we hadn’t seen previously were Batman and Superman from the upcoming ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ movie!

Vinyl Vixens:

Another line that was in short supply at Toy Fair 2016, there was only one new ‘Vinyl Vixen’ to be found! The only new Vinyl Vixen figure announced for the time being is a movie styled Harley Quinn based on her appearance in the upcoming ‘Suicide Squad’ movie that is set to hit theaters this summer! Hopefully, we will be hearing more on this line in the near future.
