Christina Milian scored a hit with her single “Do It” and she’s about to “Do It” again… “The Time Warp” that is!  The singer/songwriter/actress is the latest addition to FOX’s ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’.  Milian will play Frank-N-Fürter’s maid Magenta, who is also the sister of Riff Raff.  In the story, Magenta and Riff Raff hatch a plot to return to their home planet Transexual in the galaxy of Transylvania, which leads to death and destruction.

Milian is a familiar face and voice having appeared on numerous programs including ‘The Voice’, Dancing With The Stars’ and a reality show on E! ‘Christina Milian: Turned Up’.  She can also currently be seen on sitcom ‘Grandfathered’ and heard as the voice of Esther on ‘The Family Guy’.

She is also an accomplished singer and songwriter, with her biggest hit being 2004’s ‘Dip It Low’.  She has collaborated with the likes of Lil Wayne, Ja Rule, Young Jeezy and Hilary Duff and has also written hits for other artists like Jennifer López (“Play”) and Justin Bieber (“Baby”).

Milian joins a cast which includes Laverne Cox as Frank-N-Fürter, Victoria Justice as Janet, Ryan McCartan as Brad, Reeve Carney as Riff Raff, Adam Lambert as Eddie, Staz Nair as Rocky Horror, Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia and original Frank-N-Fürter, Tim Curry, as the narrator.

Kenny Ortega serves as the director, choreographer and producer.  Ortega is best known for his work with Disney, having directed all three ‘High School Musical’ movies, last year’s hit ‘Descendants’ and its upcoming sequel.  He also worked with Michael Jackson on what was intended to be the singer’s last tour ‘This Is It’ and directed the documentary of the same name.

‘Rocky Horror’ follows up the recent FOX theatrical event ‘Grease LIVE!’ which received rave reviews and huge ratings, besting similar recent musical presentations on NBC ‘The Wiz’ and ‘Peter Pan’.  Unlike these events, however, ‘Rocky Horror’ will not air live (possibly due to racy content?) but will be prerecorded.

No air date has been announced, but it is slated to arrive sometime in the fall.

Are you shivering with antici………… pation?
