Showtime is holding us off until 2017 for David Lynch’s ‘Twin Peaks‘ revival, but that doesn’t mean that the company is going to hold back on the advertising. Today we’ve got the first look at what Lynch and Mark Frost have been cooking up for the upcoming run as the new sign for the town is unveiled. Clocking in at just under a minute, this isn’t going to be full of which actors might be returning but is more of an on location look at the town we’ve all been waiting 25 years to have a chance to revisit.

I’m sure you’ve all been hoping that we’d be getting more confirmations from the studio of cast members returning outside of Kyle MacLachlan who is reprising his role as Agent Dale Cooper, but this isn’t the teaser for that. Hopefully, the next one that is shared will clue us in a little more as to what the town has been up to all this time and what might be the reason that we’re returning to it now.

You can check out the first teaser below!

I can’t wait to see what Lynch is actually up to but with an entire year ahead of us to wait I’m surprised they gave us even this small clip.
