Deadpool‘ is always a meta character so in this latest holiday promotion, Ryan Reynolds (‘Green Lantern‘,’X-Men Origins:Wolverine’) sits on his own character’s lap to show off his naughty and nice sides. “Wait, what is he doing?” you might be asking yourself. Well, it seems that there is a cardboard cutout of the character dressed as Santa in theaters which you can pose with and Reynolds shows his own naughty and nice takes of sitting on Santa’s lap in an exclusive shoot with People:

According to Reynolds, he is just following the same tradition that everyone else does:

“I’m just like everyone else at this time of year: I go to malls, find a crazy man screaming in a red costume, sit on his lap, and tell him to give me free stuff.”

Of course, his personal choice of a crazy man in a red costume is a little nearer and dearer to the hearts of Marvel loving fans everywhere and it looks like Reynolds reallly loves to ramp up the crazy whenever possible.

For those who haven’t been following Reynolds as of late, this is another one of his stunts for celebrating the “12 Days of Deadpool” which is leading up to a new trailer for ‘Deadpool’ that will launch on Christmas day. Talk about the perfect present for fans everywhere!
