Today Marvel co-president Louis D’Esposito send out a tweet which shows off an interesting set picture from ‘Doctor Strange‘! Fans of the character will recognize the Seal of Vishanti which protects Strange’s house known as the Sanctum Sanctorum. That being said, the rest of this shot doesn’t quite look like a townhouse sitting smack dab in the middle of New York City and appears to be a little more ancient. Perhaps because it is most likely the home of Tilda Swinton’s take on the Ancient One? We’ll see but that theory has my money on it.

So the tweet below, aside from some pretty cool mystical items and a few areas that will be CGI also has D’Esposito standing with director Scott Derrickson and producer Stephen Broussard. Let’s take a look!

The background though doesn’t give too many other hints at what may lay in the room. I’m sure some of the books that are seen may be of importance and that could be a relic in front of the Seal but it is hard to tell from this shot if it actually is or just a set decoration. As The Eye of Agamotto tends to be on a necklace or clasps his robes together it seems unlikely to be that even with its eye-like design.

I’m curious to see how many small references to mystical objects will be casually laying about or mentioned in the film. For those who were hoping to see a shot of Doctor Strange himself anytime in the near future I wouldn’t hold my breath as:
