We’ve known that Milla Jovovich (‘The Fifth Element’,’Resident Evil: Apocalypse’) is reprising her role as Alice in ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter‘ but did anyone know she was going to be old in it?

Jovovich shared an image on social media where she clearly states is not from the end of the movie so you have to wonder if this could mean we’ll be flashing forward part way through the film or if time travel is involved. With how much humanity is devastated by the end of the last film, it would seem that time travel to reset humanity to a better place could be the way to go. However, this could also be just another of her clones. There is no reason why clones couldn’t age and who knows how many other Alice’s are still out there?

You can take a look at the first shot of an elderly Alice below!

Make up is a hell of a thing. Of course, for those of you who prefer the more buttkicking version of Alice that you’re probably used to by now, we do have one of those to share with you which also includes the joys of her motherhood.

Aww. Beat up mommy and “smush”y child. I think any parent out there is a bit jealous right now of being able to have their kiddo around while at work and the rest of us are wondering what kind of a mess Alice is clearly getting into in this shot.

Synopsis:

Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.

In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’ will infect theaters on September 2nd, 2016.
