If you aren’t sick of Matthew McConaughey’s (‘True Detective’,’Dallas Buyers Club’) recent Lincoln commercials you should be happy to hear that his last science fiction epic ‘Interstellar‘ will be back on IMAX screens this weekend. Some of the best moments of this film were meant to be seen on the big screen and this will give you one last chance to check it out. Not only will the movie be playing but it will include 12 minutes of exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the film. Well, exclusive now, though I suspect we may see it coming out on the Blu-ray release.
If you are looking to check it out on the big screen, your once chance is at 3pm local times this coming Saturday, February 21st, 2015. Paramount Pictures, IMAX Corporation and AMC Theatres have come together with a final chance to see Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award-nominated film. This is how it was meant to be seen!
There is a bonus for moviegoers who pickup a ticket at their participating AMC Theatres box office for ‘An Encore of Interstellar: The IMAX Experience.’ It is a buy one get one offer which lets you receive an extra ticket free! These tickets do have to be purchased at the box office and cannot be picked up online.
