Though we may have seen the final trailer during a football game on ESPN last month, that doesn’t mean that we’ve seen the last of the ads for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. Along with a number of new stills and posters making their way online recently, television seems to be the place to get your ‘Star Wars’ fix ahead of the film’s release next month. Earlier this week, we saw a brand new TV spot for the upcoming film from a galaxy far, far away that featured some never before seen footage. And apparently that won’t be the end of it since fans watching ABC later this week will be treated to a special look at J.J. Abrams’ new movie.

According to Coming Soon, ABC announced that the network will air a ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ special on Thursday night at 8:00pm during their #TGIT block of programming. Hosted by the casts of ‘Scandal’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, and ‘How To Get Away With Murder’, this exclusive look at the highly anticipated film will feature more previously unseen footage. You can check out a brief teaser for the event below courtesy of Shonda Rhimes’ Twitter:

If you’re wondering why ABC is the place to be, it’s because the channel shares a parent company (The Walt Disney Company) with Lucasfilm (as well as ESPN, Marvel Entertainment, and Pixar). With that kind of reach, we’re likely to see much more of ‘Episode VII’ in the coming weeks through anything remotely related to Disney. However, let’s hope that we don’t get a plethora of clips that show off a good portion of the movie a la Marvel and their films.
