The countdown is kicking for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2‘ to finish off the saga of Katniss and we’ve got 12 new photos from the film that should help make the wait that much harder. Lionsgate is going into this strong and I’m sure as we get closer to the November release date that we’re going to be flooded with new teasers, trailers, and images in the upcoming month.

So, since we have to wait for the movie I’m not going to make you wait for the images any longer.

Our first image shows Cressida standing behind Katniss who is prepared to take a shot in what looks to be Panem.

Next up we have an image of Katniss and Gale who are about to show some of their affection for one another.

I’m not sure where Effie and Katniss are heading in this shot but it feels right for Effie to have returned to a look more fitting for her personality!

Here we have the first Katniss free shot as Finnick, Petta, and more are getting ready to storm the Capitol.

In this shot Katniss is on fire! Well, something is at any rate.

Gale is dressed similar to Katniss here with a crossbow in hand and I suspect that they are on the same mission here:

Finally a few shots of what will probably be the final showdown between Katniss and President Snow!

How accurate to the book this will be in playing out remains to be seen. So far though each chapter has been better having read the novel so I’m hoping when they wrap things up they can properly bring it to a close.

Synopsis:
