If you’re planning on being in the Los Angeles area between now and the end of the year, there are some pretty awesome things going on at Warner Bros. Studios, particularly if you’re a Batman fan. While the collection of props and costumes from various DC Comics films on display at the WB Studio Tour is expansive, they’ve just announced that they have added a new piece to the collection from the Dark Knight’s next big screen adventure for a limited time only.
According to a recent press release, WB has added the newest Batmobile from the upcoming ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ to the studio tour ahead of the film’s highly anticipated release next March. Located in the Batman-themed Picture Car Vault starting on September 4th, the militaristic vehicle utilized by Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader will appear alongside memorabilia from all eight Batman movies including the Batpod, the Tumbler, and the Bat-Signal. The addition of the Batmobile and a few costumes from ‘Batman v Superman’ marks the first time in the studio’s history where they showcase items from a film exclusively to their guests before the movie is released. But if seeing the brand new Batmobile isn’t enough for you, here’s a brief description of the other DC-related items finding their homes on the Studio Tour:
Throughout the three-hour Studio Tour, guests will be able to see firsthand the newest Batman suit from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, along with original suits worn by other actors who have portrayed Batman on screen, including Michael Keaton, George Clooney, and Christian Bale. The Superman and Wonder Woman costumes portrayed by Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot will also be highlighted in the exhibit, which already includes costumes of Robin, the Joker, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Catwoman, the Penguin, the Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Batgirl, and Alfred.
The WB Studio Tour is often regarded as one of the cooler tours in Hollywood and these new arrivals definitely just made it even better. However, if you hope to catch the various things from Zack Snyder’s next film, be sure to make it out to Hollywood before the new costumes disappear on September 23rd and the Batmobile hits the road on December 31st.
