Production is well under way on Marvel Studios’ first Phase Three film, ‘Captain America: Civil War’. When the Russo brothers’ follow up to the acclaimed ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ hits theaters, we’ll see the story of a rift between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers and Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark will be at odds with each other and members of the team are forced to take sides. However, there is someone who is said to remain neutral in this whole affair. Based on previous reports, Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther will have his own agenda during the superhuman civil war. While we don’t know for sure what that is just yet, we do finally have our first look at T’Challa in costume.

The Daily Mail and Coming Soon have recently shared pictures from the ‘Civil War’ set in Berlin, Germany. These shots offer our first real look at Boseman’s superhero alter ego. Similar to the concept art seen during the announcement of the actor’s casting, the Black Panther suit very closely resembles the character’s classic all black look with a few seemingly Vibranium accents here and there.

Due to copyright restrictions (and fear of being taken captive by S.H.I.E.L.D. or HYDRA), we are unable to share the photos here. Feel free to visit the sources for that. However, we can tell you that the set pics show Panther scaling a building. By the looks of things, he’s after Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier, but the Star-Spangled Avenger isn’t far behind as he races across the ledges of a building after them.

What do you think about the Black Panther’s costume in ‘Captain America: Civil War’? Are you satisfied with the character’s appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Sound off in the comments.

‘Captain America: Civil War’ hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
