With the mid-credit teaser from ‘Ant-Man‘ giving us a tease at what The Wasp might be wearing in a future film, I know that many of us have been clamoring for a better look and today we have a great view of it for you! While we don’t quite yet know when Evangeline Lilly‘s Hope Van Dyne will be suiting up to team up with Ant-Man in a future film, we can now see the official image from Marvel of the unfinished suit that Michael Douglas’s Hank Pym showed her.
It should be pointed out that as it was unfinished in the film there is a strong chance that there could be changes between this one and what she actually ends up wearing.
As Lilly hasn’t been announced to star in ‘Captain America: Civil War,’ it is doubtful we’ll see her grace the big screen as The Wasp until at least ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ when we have all of our heroes taking on Thanos. Still, fans of the superheroine have reason to be excited for the shot below.
While the suit not only looks good, it does a great job at calling back to The Wasp’s uniform in the comics. While not dead on, most of the Cinematic Universe costumes haven’t been exactly what we’ve seen on page.
I do, however, wonder what if the arms not having fabric yet is the incomplete part as it seemed to be explained in the movie that full coverage was needed for the Pym Particles to properly do their job and not turn the suit’s wearer into a pile of mush.
