With the premiere of ‘Fear the Walking Dead‘ right around the corner we have a new synopsis and images to share with you. AMC is clearly preparing for the latest infestation and the new synopsis gives us a much clearer overall view of how we’ll be following two families surviving the onset of the Walker outbreak. You can read that below but first let’s take a look at the new teaser and some new images from the series!
The first teaser really says that you have to get in the water at your own risk (just when you thought it was safe to get back into the water….)
Now on to the pictures from the show that we have to share with you. There were quite a few shots released but these look to be part of action scenes so are the ones worth showing off. Though, aside from the one with our leads running from people in the background which may or may not be zombies, we still haven’t gotten any shots of the freshly turned walkers.
Looking good. I’m glad to see we’re finally starting to get some action shots in there and not just the standard cast photos which have been the bulk of promotional material so far. For those who want to know a little bit more about what to expect on the series, we do have the new official synopsis to share with you today. It has less of a focus on individual characters and more of the overall plan of what we’ll be seeing on ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ when it premieres.
Living in the same universe as The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa have managed to assemble. The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.
